Ingredient
Boiled rice : 2 cups
Raw rice : 1 handful
Urad dal : 1 cup Fenugreek : 1tsp
Salt : for taste
Oil : as required

Preparation
- Soak the both rice,fenugreek and dal separately for 3 hours.
- Grind the both rice,fenugreek and dal separately.
- Mix both of them and add salt.
- Allow the batter for ferment up to 10 hours.
- Add some water if needed.
- Now heat the tawa and spread the batter on the whole of tawa.
- Pour the oil over it and cook it on the other side also.
- Put little water on the tawa and wipe it with a clean cloth before making each dosa.
- Serve hot with sambar.
Spicy Maida Dosa
Ingredient
Maida : 1 cup
Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
Pepper : 1 tsp
Green chilies : 1(cut into small pieces)
Salt : for taste
water : as required
Preparation
- Take maida and mix it with water,stir well until the maida lumps dissolved in that.
- Add some water if required(thickness of maida batter is same as the ordinary dosa).
- Add cumin seeds,pepper,green chilies,salt in the maida batter.
- Now heat the tawa and spread the maida batter on the whole of tawa.
- Pour the oil over it and cook it on the other side also.
- Put little water on the tawa and wipe it with a clean cloth before making each dosa.
- Serve hot with ginger chutney.
Pasipayaru(Greengram) Dosa
Ingredient
Green gram : 1 cup
Raw rice : half cup
Small onions : 10 -12
Red chilies : 10
Salt : for taste
Preparation
- Wash and soak the green gram and rice for 5 hours.
- Grind both of them.
- And also grind the red chilies,onions.
- Mix both of them, add water if required to make the batter like the ordinary dosa.
- Add salt for the taste.
- Now heat the tawa and spread the green gram batter on the whole of tawa.
- Pour the oil over it and cook it on the other side also.
- Put little water on the tawa and wipe it with a clean cloth before making each dosa.
- Serve hot with coconut chutney.
